NIKA is hiring for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the on-site Project Management supporting the USCG Family Housing Maintenance Services Training Center (TRACEN) in Cape May, NJ! This is a pro-active opportunity that NIKA will be bidding on and hiring for post award.

Job Duties:
- The Project Manager shall demonstrate experience in the development, management and operational direction of a facilities or housing maintenance program. In addition to specific maintenance works, the PM should have experience exercising direct and indirect supervision over a workforce of professional, skilled and semi-skilled employees consisting of at least 10 to 15 personnel.
- The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing and coordinating with POCs work plans, coordinating installs, conducting quality control, and validating products being installed are correct.
- The PM will be involved in preparation of project scopes of work and rough cost estimates, and provide technical review of construction contractor proposals, including project modifications.
- The PM will be providing projects programming along with project management and design review inputs.
- This work involves communication with project customers to validate project requirements, review of pertinent clinics/hall specific and industry standard codes and guidelines, and selection of appropriate engineering systems and solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- Project Management certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience of current experience in managing facility maintenance contracts/projects of similar size and complexity
- These requirements can be substitued for a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing facility maintenance contracts/projects of similar size and complexity and must meet the following qualifications:
- Creating and implementing policy guidance;
- Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating program performance;
- Maintenance work order planning, scheduling and execution;
- Budgeting, allocation, and distribution of resources.
- Quality control methods, principles, and practices;
- Construction trades, practices and techniques;
- Inspection practices and procedures;
- Safety practices in the construction industry;
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing;
- Fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Can demonstrate good communication and organizational skills that are required for government design/build projects and for daily interaction with government construction management staff.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Clearance Access Card (CAC)
