Program Description
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Facilities Enterprise (FE) is responsible for developing all requirements including planning, maintenance, operations, and construction efforts for all medical facilities, including military construction (MILCON) and Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) project for the Military Health System. DHA FE receives organization-wide operation demand signals in coordination with the DHA Healthcare Operations Directorate and seeks input from various stakeholders throughout the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. All MTF requirements for facility related work is captured in Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system for maintenance, operations, project requirements, real property, energy, sustainability, and planning.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• This position will contribute to the prioritization of projects to ensure work aligns with strategic goals and reports directly to the Manager, Process Improvement, Early Phase business unit.
• Partner with subject matter experts to generate and analyze information that will support the recommendations of solutions that address productivity, efficiency, complexity, and strategic opportunities, while enhancing the customer experience
• Participate in and support multiple internal levels of management in the analysis and evaluation of initiatives, projects, and issues.
• Educate and train team members on how to use Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, such as control charts, histograms, and root cause analysis.
• Design/develop/modify/troubleshoot methods supporting business process analysis.
• Ensuring contract performance in accordance with the direction and policies of NIKA.
Required Skills
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or industrial engineering technologies
• Process Improvement experience (3 or more years) in complex work environments
centered around healthcare, construction, or production systems.
• Change Management experience (3 or more years) and understanding of concepts.

• Eligible for a US Security Clearance and Clearance Access Card (CAC).
