What we expect from you
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or relevant fields; equivalent professional experience is acceptable.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and other data engineering languages.
- Experience with cloud services, preferably Azure, and Microsoft Fabric tools.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components, including but not limited to Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, OneLake, Lakehouse, and Power BI.
- Strong skills in designing relational and dimensional data models, building ETL/ELT pipelines, and implementing data governance frameworks.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies, with proven ability to manage tasks, prioritize workloads, and deliver solutions on time.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate is preferred but not required.
- 3+ years in data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
- Experience with large-scale data processing and real-time data systems.
- Background in working with enterprise data warehouses, lakehouses, and distributed data platforms.
- Familiarity with data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Experience integrating data across multiple sources and business domains.
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting standards in healthcare, finance, or another regulated industry.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or similar cloud-based ETL tools.
- Familiarity with delta lake, parquet, and other big data formats.
- Experience integrating APIs and automating data ingestion workflows.
- Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting standards in healthcare, finance, or another regulated industry.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving best practices in the data engineering landscape
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a data-driven mindset to identify opportunities and anticipate challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborates effectively, shares knowledge, and supports others to achieve shared goals.
- Proactively seeks new opportunities to innovate and improve data infrastructure.
- Understands stakeholder requirements and aligns solutions to meet business needs.

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $80,000-$110,000*
