Production Supervisor
Compensation: Starting annual salary of $55,000-68,000 + three performance bonuses a year!
Location: Minneapolis, KS

Responsibilities:

• Execute the selection, coaching, mentoring, development, and performance management of a production team encompassing 6-10 direct reports responsible for machine operation, quality control, and production efficiency.
• Lead teams by allocating resources to meet daily production schedules and business needs. Ensure production orders are processed in an accurate, complete, and timely manner.
• Facilitate employee training and build succession within the production department.
• Implement continuous improvement principles to reduce scrap rates, enhance product quality, and optimize production throughput.
• Evaluate and improve process capabilities and personnel productivity through regular monitoring, feedback, and data-driven analysis. Provide consultation to team members as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures are strictly followed by team members. Identify and communicate safety-related continuous improvement opportunities to leadership.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Orientation to people management and talent development.
• Prior experience with production schedules (or scheduling rules) for operations.
• Microsoft Office software skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Accomplished time management and problem resolution skills.
• Experience with LEAN practices / methodologies desired.
• Experience with 5S or 6S housekeeping methods desired.

Work Environment: This is a manufacturing plant environment - exposure to high temperatures, moving machinery, moving equipment, heights and confined spaces.
