CHARGE NURSE/LPN

The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, a skilled nursing and independent living community, is actively seeking candidates for Charge Nurse/LPNs. This position will provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nurse aides.

Responsibilities:

• Performs all prescribed med passes during shift according to orders.
• Provides nursing care to the residents and supervises the day to day operations of nurse assistants.
• Reports all accidents/incidents and changes in a residents condition observed on shift.
• This is a supervisory position that reports to the Director of Nursing.
• The hours and days of work vary as needed.

Qualifications:

• GPN or graduate of an LPN program.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 lbs.
