What You'll Do: 

As our Director of IT, you will manage our IT staff and create a collaborative tech environment across all AMT locations. Working closely with executive staff in our Peoria, Illinois headquarters office, this Director will identify, develop, and implement cost-effective technology solutions. 

• Provide leadership, vision, and management for all AMT IT needs
• Manage IT Staff
• Oversee technical projects to align with organizational goals, and provide timely reporting
• Support server, network, telecommunications, desktop, and mobile hardware, as well as business software and applications 
• Manage IT vendor contracts and coordinate all IT asset procurement
• Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment
• Create annual budget; hold department accountable to budget and explain variances throughout the year
• Manage security incident response

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in information technology, information systems, or similar field required
• 2-10 years of project, staff and budget management experience
• CISCO Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) preferred

Software Proficiencies:

• Windows 10, 11; Microsoft Office 2013, 2016; Microsoft 365; Azure; Exchange Online; Visio; Anti-Virus Software; Content Management Software; Meraki VPN; Veeam; Nimble Storage; Microsoft Defender; and various imaging software utilities. Mobile device management; remote machine management; advanced installation; maintenance and troubleshooting skills on Cisco UCS servers

Proficiencies Preferred:

• Hardware/Software Technology
• CISCO product and implementation knowledge — router/switch, ASA security, Unified communications

Virtualization:

• VMWare ESX/ESXi; including vCenter, vMotion, DRS, HA, and Fault Tolerance. Support and Installation of Storage Networking technologies including SAN's and NAS's.
