What will you do as a Senior Accountant at HOMAGE
As our Senior Accountant, you'll be a key member of the accounting team, reporting to the Director of Accounting. You’ll support the month-end close, ensure timely reconciliations, and take ownership of complex accounting areas like sales tax compliance and royalty reporting. You’ll work closely with partners in operations, merchandising, and ecommerce, while helping us scale our systems and controls for growth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Own the preparation and submission of royalty reports to licensors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Manage multi-state sales tax compliance in partnership with Avalara, including reconciliations and filings.
- Leverage NetSuite, Celigo, Shopify, and Avalara to ensure data integrity across systems and streamline accounting workflows.
- Own the Wholesale Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation, while maintaining proper segregation of duties from AP.
- Support audits and maintain documentation of key controls and processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
