Job Purpose:

The Knowledge Manager is responsible for driving knowledge-sharing initiatives and training efforts across the organization. This role involves working closely with functional experts to encourage and support the sharing of knowledge, creating training and knowledge-sharing materials for customers and affiliate partners, and facilitating the Anderson onboarding program. The Knowledge Manager ensures that organizational knowledge is effectively captured, curated, and disseminated to improve learning outcomes and business performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge Sharing Facilitation:

  • Encourage and support functional experts in sharing their expertise and insights with broader teams.
  • Facilitate the identification and sharing of best practices, lessons learned, and key organizational knowledge.
  • Implement strategies and tools that foster a knowledge-sharing culture within the organization.

Training and Knowledge Materials Creation:

  • Develop training materials and knowledge-sharing resources for customers and affiliate partners.
  • Ensure that materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design engaging and informative content that supports both internal and external audiences.

Anderson Onboarding Program:

  • Lead the facilitation of the Anderson onboarding program, ensuring new employees are effectively integrated into the organization.
  • Create and update onboarding materials, ensuring they reflect current business practices and values.
  • Ensure onboarding processes are smooth, engaging, and support long-term employee retention.

Knowledge Management Strategy:

  • Develop and implement knowledge management strategies to ensure critical information is captured, stored, and shared effectively.
  • Regularly assess and update knowledge-sharing processes to ensure they meet organizational needs.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with department leaders and teams to identify training needs and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to ensure that knowledge management initiatives are aligned with training and development efforts.

Measurement and Reporting:

  • Track and measure the effectiveness of knowledge-sharing initiatives and training programs.
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on the impact of knowledge management efforts and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in knowledge management, learning & development, or a similar role.
  • Experience in creating training and educational materials for both internal and external audiences.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Knowledge Management, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management tools and platforms.
  • Experience with onboarding program design and facilitation.

Performance Metrics:

  • Effectiveness of Knowledge Sharing:
    Measured by feedback from employees and customers on the usefulness and accessibility of knowledge materials.
  • Training Material Quality:
    Success in developing training materials that meet the needs of customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Onboarding Program Success:
    Measured by new employee feedback and retention rates, ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding experience.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Positive feedback from subject matter experts and department leaders on knowledge-sharing initiatives.
