JOB SUMMARY:

The Mortgage Servicing System Specialist function is responsible for the efficient and continuous operation of the Loan Servicing software, as well as development of internal processes and procedures. The Specialist is responsible for being the first point of contact for internal departments and vendor requests and implementations. The Specialist will also analyze incoming issue requests and research procedural changes. The Specialist is in the early stage of career development and will be developing knowledge of the system. This role will focus on the Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP).

 

I. SYSTEM SPECIALIST SUPPORT DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Provide guidance and function as a resource to assist departments with loan servicing product requests
  • Highly knowledgeable of the MSP software and the ICE suite of products*
  • Support the coordination of projects with Mortgage Servicing System Manager
  • Collect and analyze loan data to identify potential opportunities for improvements
  • Assist with the development, documentation and training of any new or updated processes or policy changes
  • Generate ad-hoc reports for various departments by request
  • Assist team members with projects and duties
  • Participate in product enhancement meetings
  • Responds timely to Helpdesk cases
  • Maintain OLLW letters and maintain user access of Print Vendors Platform NConnect
  • Assist with the administration of Escrow websites Core Logic, Allied, and Lereta
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Dart Bank’s internal compliance policies and procedures. Take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies
  • Other tasks as assigned based on business needs

*Customer Service, Director, I-Disburse, AIP, Passport, Loss Mitigation, Servicing Digital, Web Direct, Loan Boarding and UAT.

 

II. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of comparable work experience required
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing MSP strongly preferred, or 4+ years of comparable work experience in Mortgage Servicing software
  • Experience with CoreLogic, New Course, or Allied Solutions helpful
  • Strong working knowledge of loan processes and regulations
  • Able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized, focused, and highly disciplined
  • Critical Thinking and Driven. Will take initiative and persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks/projects and meet deadlines simultaneously
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to present to varying audiences
