Escrow Servicing Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:
This primary purpose of the Escrow Servicing Specialist is to administer all aspects of the escrow account including tax, insurance(s), escrow analysis, and escrow account maintenance in the servicing system. Also provides both internal and external customer service with escrow inquiries.
I.      JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for all escrow related duties including escrow analysis, escrow loan set-up, and escrow payments for taxes, insurance, flood and PMI.
- Ensure that each month’s Mass Analysis cycle is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Runs any off-cycle analysis upon request, and ensures accounts are accurate.
- Pays all taxes using Lereta’s tracking and reporting and Black Knights servicing software.
- Assists with hazard and flood distributions and tracking using Allied Solutions.
- Prepares manual analysis calculations as requested. Calculates estimates using assessed values, mills, etc.
- Tracks delinquent taxes. Â Communicates with customers and lenders, and force places escrows if necessary.
- Responds to internal and external inquires relating to taxes and escrow.
- Performs system maintenance as necessary to update escrow and payment information.
- May assist with PMI monitoring, reporting and disbursement
- Possess a good working knowledge of servicing guidelines and regulatory requirements established under RESPA and implemented through CFPB and Dart Bank.
- Works as part of the loan servicing team and may assist with other functions from time to time.
- Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Other duties as assigned.
II.    JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:     Associate degree or combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform essential job functions.
Experience:Â Â Â Two to five years of experience in mortgage or escrow servicing.
- Able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
- Possess an aptitude for problem-solving
- Demonstrate a high level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to read and understand loan documents
- Proficient computer and excel skills
