RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
· Execute preventative maintenance work on manufacturing equipment and report to supervisor any abnormal observations
· Attend to emergency repair and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
· Maintain cleanliness around maintenance shop and equipment work area, following 5S standards
· Assist with changeovers on equipment
· Complete breakdown repairs on various manufacturing equipment
· Identify critical spares and consumable parts that need to be purchased
· Other plant maintenance responsibilities as needed
Professional Qualifications
· Senior Level Mechanic: 15+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing
· Junior Level Mechanic: 2+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing
· Strong knowledge with manufacturing environment
· Experience with hydraulic presses, gearboxes, motors and other heavy machinery
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with other maintenance team members, operators and leadership teams
