At The Grove, we are being changed by God to reach all people. Worship is an integral part of how God shapes us, helping us see and know Him for who He truly is and respond with reverence and obedience. The Worship Ministry Associate inspires the church to worship Jesus with all He has entrusted to us (our giftings, circumstances, trials, and joys). Additionally, by helping lead and train volunteers in corporate worship, this role will encourage and equip the Worship Ministry to make the Lord known through our church.

WORSHIP LEADER – 50%                                    Â
- Lead worship on stage approximately two weekends per month.
- Lead worship for midweek and special services as needed.
- Regularly research and introduce new songs that fit the church’s theology, musical style, and congregational voice.
- Actively participate in weekly planning meetings to align music with themes and the flow of service.
- Coordinate closely with Worship Pastor and Service Production Coordinator to ensure cohesive worship planning and execution.
VOLUNTEER TRAINING & LEADERSHIP – 40%             Â
- Assist with recruitment, development, and training of Worship Ministry volunteers.
- Maintain Planning Center online with updated resources and arrangements for worship services.
- Disciple volunteers into a spirit of biblical worship.
OTHER MINISTRY – 10%                                     Â
- Cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.
- Attend Worship Team meetings, church all-staff meetings, devotions, and trainings.
