Maintenance Technician

Carbel, part of Arvato, is a full-service 3PL provider serving national and international clients across various industries, with a strong focus on fashion and retail. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our operations by ensuring the reliable performance of all equipment and machinery. This role involves performing both preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with the production team to reduce downtime. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.

YOUR TASKS:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per established schedules.
• Diagnose and repair technical issues efficiently and safely.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities for each piece of equipment.
• Propose and implement technical improvements to optimize machinery performance.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industrial standards during all maintenance tasks.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Technical or technological degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or specialized equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing complex, high-precision machines.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience using diagnostic tools, maintenance software (preferred), and generating technical reports.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
• Availability for both scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
