Global K9 Protection Group LLC is looking for a dedicated and passionate Site Supervisor to serve as an integral part of the GK9PG Team.

Responsibilities: 

•    First line supervisor for GK9PG employees at station location in support of the International Service Center (ISC) for the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS).
•    The USPIS ISCs must adhere to the USPIS 3PK9 Program and procedures outlined in the most recent version of the USPIS Playbook. 
•    Provides site specific input to the Area Manager as required. 
•    Serve as the first level of client interface with GK9PG leadership at each site.
•    Serves as the first level of compliance accountability for site. 
•    Enforces all GK9PG policies and procedures to include the USPIS Playbook.
•    On-leash training and screening (20-hour per week).
•    Works to create new business and opportunities for growth in the region.
•    Oversee Operational Implementation Plans and ensure adherence to all contractual regulations.
•    Monitors and assists with badging in region as required and perform functions of the corporate signatory authority for the company as required.
•    Manages GK9PG equipment (accountable and expendable).
•    Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, the industry, and community. 
•    Oversees operational efficiency, ensuring each site is reaching goals set by company leadership. 
•    Seeks to improve customer service and satisfaction through effective communication, policy and procedural changes. 
•    Investigate discrepancies within operation.
•    Reviews, analyzes, evaluates and updates canine operations procedures as appropriate.  
•    Ensure compliance with GK9PG policy enforcement.
•    Implements and enforces policies and procedures that will improve efficient operations.
•    Ensures presence of adequate and safe work environments.
•    Performs other related duties as assigned.
•    Administrative oversight of schedules. Create and manage site event, daily operations, and training schedules and maintain a 2-week minimum publish deadline, monitor employee punches for accurate labor allocations, approve and manage PTO, manage and minimize overtime (all overtime requires approval by SVP of Operations).
•    Administration of policies and procedures. Know and enforce policies laid out in the current version of the employee handbook. 
•    Fulfill reporting and information requirements from supervisor.
•    Coordinates requested TDY support with supervisor to support operational demands.
•    Facilitate badging (where required) and other administrative requirements from clients/stakeholders to ensure handlers have access to warehouses.
•    Manages GK9PG equipment for the site; maintains / updates inventory of accountable and expendable equipment/supplies with GK9PG Logistics Section; initiates reorder, or purchase procedures as required. 
•    Perform functions of the signatory authority for the company when required.  
•    Employee development and counseling. Includes both informal coaching/mentoring as well as formal counseling.
•    Developing and implementing PIPs as directed for employees with patterns of not meeting standards.
•    Client/Customer Interface. Acts as the face of the company on site to represent company equities and resolve disputes with clients at the warehouse level. 
•    Minimum 20 hours of on-leash screening and/or training.
•    Facilitates new employee orientation and OJT requirements 
•    Maintain employee engagement.
•    Manage training and compliance requirements. TSA/Company requirements include CETA, BA, Recertifications, SSI, K9 Care, AR Training, etc. Ensure proper document reporting as directed by training and compliance staff.
•    Enforce monthly K9 maintenance/preventive medication and ensure proper documentation according to training and compliance staff.
•    Facilitate site or client specific training. Ensure sustainment cart procedures outlined in the USPIS Playbook are adhered to at all times.
•    Reviews and ensures proper uploads in GlobalView for all compliance requirements
 

Qualifications

•    Ability to work well in a team environment and to multi-task under tight deadlines.

•    Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft programs (excel, power point, MS project, etc.).
•    Willing to travel domestically to cover stations when necessary.
