Description

The Analyst, Client Reporting will be a member of the Portfolio Administration and Reporting Team which is responsible for client reporting, performance, and portfolio administration. The analyst’s responsibilities will primarily focus on complex reporting for DoubleLine’s separately managed accounts, sub-advised accounts, and offshore funds. The analyst will provide secondary support for performance-related functions, working closely with DoubleLine’s Performance Specialist. The role may also involve supporting additional Portfolio Administration and Reporting Team functions including maintaining compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®), portfolio administration, and account setup and maintenance.

 

Job Functions

  • Produce and validate standard and custom reporting for DoubleLine clients and investors, with a particular focus on complex and performance-related client reporting.
  • Create new reports and set up new reporting schedules, as requested by clients.
  • Provide secondary coverage for performance functions, including daily performance validation and data quality checks using Python.
  • Work with DoubleLine’s Information Technology Group to refine reporting and performance related automation, as necessary.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests by clients and other internal departments.
  • Help with the maintenance of well-documented processes, procedures, and meeting minutes and notes.
  • Support additional functions including DoubleLine’s compliance with the GIPS standards, portfolio administration, and operational account setup and maintenance.
  • Assist with other team-, department-, and firm-level projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • 2-5 years of experience with client reporting, performance measurement, portfolio administration, and/or fund accounting processes in the investment management field strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with data tools and programming languages such as Power BI or Python preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of fixed income instruments preferred.
