DoubleLine is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) to join it’s Client Portfolio management team, which is tasked with supporting global sales and client retention by providing strategic insights and portfolio commentary—allowing investment teams to remain focused on portfolio management. This individual will serve as key liaison between the investment and distribution teams, acting as a subject matter expert on DoubleLine’s strategies, market views, and product positioning. This highly visible role is responsible for product marketing, client communications, macroeconomic commentary, and competitive analysis. The CPM is expected to deliver consistent messaging across institutional and retail audiences and contribute meaningfully to both internal strategy alignment and external relationship building.
Job Functions
• Act as a liaison for the portfolio management team, communicating investment strategies and market views through presentations and written content.
• Create and distribute market commentary and strategy updates for clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and sales leaders to align messaging and support distribution.
• Develop expertise in DoubleLine’s investment products (mutual funds, ETFs, CITs, SMAs, etc.).
• Address client inquiries in coordination with the Global Relationship Management team.
• Support sales and client service teams to enhance engagement and streamline the sales process.
• Contribute to marketing materials, including decks and performance visuals.
• Represent the firm in client/prospect meetings alongside sales and service teams.
• Stay informed on economic trends and translate investment insights into clear narratives.
