Job Title: Baggage Handler
Location: Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) – Anchorage, AK
Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour
Schedule: Primarily Evening & Weekend Shifts | Full-Time
Position Summary:
Huntleigh USA is currently seeking reliable and motivated individuals for Baggage Handler positions at ANC. As a Baggage Handler, you will play a vital role in helping ensure smooth and efficient operations for our airline partners by handling luggage safely and accurately.
We are hiring for full-time positions, with shifts primarily during evenings and weekends. Please note: some positions may be temporary and run through the end of the busy season (October), while others will transition to permanent roles.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload passenger luggage to and from aircraft and baggage carts

Transport luggage between terminals and aircraft using baggage tugs or carts

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of baggage to designated areas

Provide professional and courteous service to airline passengers and personnel

Follow all airport and airline safety and security procedures

Lift, carry, and move bags and cargo weighing up to 75 lbs
Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid driver’s license preferred

Must pass TSA/FBI background check and obtain airport security clearance

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Reliable transportation to/from ANC airport
