RESPONSIBILITY
- Provide a safe and positive environment for children.
- Take immediate action in any unsafe situations.
- Remain highly observant of any potentially unsafe situations.
- Exhibit professional behavior and appearance at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of playroom throughout scheduled shift.
- Be knowledgeable and complete all cleaning and closing procedures.
- Welcome parents and children with enthusiasm, eye contact and positive attitude.
- Interact, read books, sing, and play with children.
- Acknowledge parents and children upon departure from playroom.
- Consult with management before approaching parents with concerns.
- Promote and participate in department and club events.
- Â Maintain a customer service attitude of flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of duties within the playroom.
- Â Complete infant/child CPR certification and orientation.
- Attend departmental meetings.
- Â Encourage appropriate use of toys, using positive guidance to achieve desirable behavior.
- Â Follow established disciplined guidelines.
- Contribute to stimulating, creative and warm early enrichments.
- Use good judgment in any situation with child to ensure happiness and safety.
- Â Performs such other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS Lifting 5 lbs to 30 lbs.  Bending and moving to sweep, pick up toys ,walking, standing for lengthy amounts of time while holding a child to settle them
