PRN PC Medication Technician

summary: :  Administers medication, provides direct care, and oversees daily service.

Qualifications

 

  1. Education:  High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Be at least 18 years of age.
  3. Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  4. Certification Requirements:  Medical Technician and CPR
  5. Experience: Minimum two years’ experience in similar role or specialized training
  6. Ability to use resident assist-devices, scales, wheelchairs, bed full mechanical lift, blood pressure apparatus, stethoscope, thermometer, glucometer, gait belt, and pulse oximetry essential.
  7. Knowledge of DHS regulations

  1. Balancing regularly
  2. Climbing (e.g., stairs or ladder) frequently
  3. Crawling occasionally
  4. Crouching regularly
  5. Repetitive Finger Movements frequently
  6. Grasping frequently
  7. Kneeling occasionally
  8. Lifting frequently
  1. Pulling frequently
  1. Pushing frequently
  2. Reaching frequently
  1. Standing for extended periods of time
  1. Stooping occasionally
  2. Lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds frequently and weights more than 40 pounds with proper use of assistive equipment
