Job Purpose:

The Solution Architect will work closely with business and technical teams to design and guide enterprise solutions that align with organizational goals. This is not a programming role — instead, it focuses on understanding business needs, defining solution architectures, ensuring effective integration (Salesforce, APIs, cloud, and enterprise systems), and providing governance and oversight throughout delivery. The role requires strong business acumen, architectural thinking, and the ability to bridge communication between executives, business stakeholders, and technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business leaders and stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into clear architectural solutions.
  • Design end-to-end solution architectures leveraging Salesforce, API management, and integration platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Provide architectural governance and oversight to delivery teams, ensuring solutions meet design standards and business needs.
  • Define integration patterns and oversee how Salesforce connects with enterprise systems, vendors, and third-party platforms.
  • Evaluate technology options and recommend platforms, tools, and practices to meet business and operational goals.
  • Present and explain solution designs to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Document architecture decisions, standards, and solution roadmaps for cross-team alignment and future reference.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and integration.
  • Stay informed on emerging Salesforce features, API trends, and cloud capabilities to proactively recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce platform architecture.
  • Proven experience in API management, system integration, and enterprise connectivity.
  • Excellent ability to bridge business requirements with technical architecture, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and facilitation skills — able to guide discussions with executives, business users, and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their role in enterprise solution design.
  • Familiarity with governance, compliance, and security standards in enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Integration Architect.
  • Experience with API management platforms (MuleSoft, or Azure API Management).
  • Background in digital transformation or enterprise integration projects.
  • Industry experience in travel, hospitality, or e-commerce.
