Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, human services, psychology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Experience facilitating groups, coaching, or teaching
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills
- Excellent multi-tasking, organization, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in job readiness instruction, curriculum development, or adult education
- Familiarity with employment services or disability supports
- Experience with case management or person-centered planning
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to use their hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
