📌 The Role
The Talent Development Specialist designs, delivers, and evaluates programs to drive high operational proficiency within Insurance Operations. This role acts as a subject matter expert and guidance resource. Top responsibilities include: instructional design & delivery for Insurance Operations, maintaining operational procedures, and analyzing performance trends/identifying training needs.
✅ Core Duties
- Design: Conduct needs assessments; develop manuals, job aids, and LMS modules; plan onboarding/upskilling pathways.
- Delivery: Facilitate learning via classroom, virtual, mentoring, and on-the-job coaching. Educate employees on products and philosophy.
- Evaluation: Apply assessment tools to measure training impact; track and report outcomes.
- Culture: Support the Company’s vision and core values.

👤 Who We’re Looking For

Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and a strong focus on time management and organization.
- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- CPCU preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required, Guidewire Policy and Billing Center experience preferred.Â
- Minimum 5 years of insurance industry experience, with at least 2 years of professional underwriting experience in workers’ compensation and/or property and casualty insurance.
- 1-2 years’ experience as professional trainer preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, motor vehicle insurance, and use of a personal vehicle for travel is required.Â
