Summary
The Production Manager plays a hands-on leadership role in overseeing all aspects of daily production operations. This role involves driving departmental growth, ensuring financial accountability, and maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Description
- Take a hands-on approach to directing and coordinating all production activities, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and cost-efficient output across departments. This role requires consistent presence on the production floor to actively lead day-to-day operations
- Lead, mentor, and develop production staff, promoting a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement. Provide regular coaching, performance evaluations, and support career development
- Actively monitor and participate in production processes to drive efficiency, reduce waste and downtime, and minimize rework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify challenges and implement practical, floor-level solutions
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards and client expectations. Partner with quality control and design teams to address issues and maintain consistency
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards
- Manage department budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and control labor and material costs to support financial goals
- Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure material availability, production scheduling, and on-time delivery
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives and provide input on production capacity, capital investments, and workforce planning to support business growth
- Drive operational improvements through training, lean manufacturing principles, and the adoption of new tools or technologies
- Foster strong communication across departments to ensure alignment of production timelines, priorities, and resource needs
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of leadership experience within a production and warehouse environment, with a proven ability to manage diverse teams and operations. This role requires consistent presence on the production floor to actively lead day-to-day operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred
- OSHA General Industry 10 or 30 certification required, with a strong commitment to workplace safety standards and compliance
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace culture
- Bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates a coaching-oriented leadership style, focused on developing talent and supporting employee growth and performance
- Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience in budget management, cost control, and resource planning
- Committed to maintaining high standards of conduct, compliance, and accountability, with strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Communicates expectations clearly, defines success for the team, and provides consistent direction and feedback
- Builds and maintain strong working relationships across departments, as well as with external partners and the broader community
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, dynamic environments

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management systems or ERP software
Physical Requirements
- The Warehouse is not temperature regulated and can be noisy and busy.
- Walk approximately 15k – 20k steps per day
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
- Expected work hours vary and typically occur outside of normal business hours M-F 6am -2:30pm
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: $110,000 - $150,00 per year
