Job Description Summary
The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starting sales professional passionate about helping property managers maximize revenue. This role focuses on selling RevMax revenue management products and services to new and existing clients, including some who already use Inhabit software and some who do not. You’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and guiding clients through complex decision-making processes.
The successful salesperson will be:
- Passionate about the vacation and short-term rental industry
- Knowledgeable about revenue management principles and the competitive landscape
- Comfortable with prospecting, relationship selling, and consulting on revenue growth strategies
- Skilled at understanding and articulating complex products and services
- Able to balance drive and ambition with emotional intelligence and a client-first mindset
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Proactively prospect and generate new business through cold calling, emailing, social selling, and in-market networking
- Manage a full sales cycle from lead generation through discovery, demonstration, proposal, and close
- Present and demo RevMax revenue management solutions with clarity and a consultative approach
- Build trusted relationships with professional vacation rental managers and other property stakeholders
- Understand and diagnose client needs related to pricing strategy, revenue optimization, and operational efficiency
- Accurately manage opportunities in CRM systems and maintain strong pipeline hygiene
- Drive opportunities both with net-new logos and upsells to existing Inhabit clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to support a smooth handoff to implementation and client success
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and occasional in-market visits to build brand awareness and meet prospective clients
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of RevMax offerings, competitive positioning, and revenue management best practices
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
