Job Description Summary
The Data Specialist is a critical member of the RentalGuardian Operations team, reporting to the Support Manager. This role is responsible for supporting data-related processes across the business, including managing integrations for manual clients, building product configurations, and developing and maintaining key reports. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proficient in tools like Excel (Power BI a plus), and comfortable working across teams to resolve data-related challenges.
Key responsibilities include compiling and analyzing data, supporting coverage failure resolution, assist with certain account escalations and discrepancies through bulk policy cancellation and various software initiatives. This role plays a vital part in ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency, which relates to the service RentalGuardian provides to its clients.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Manage and maintain data uploads, ensuring accurate and timely processing of coverage failures in collaboration with the Revenue Recovery & Integration Lead
- Monitor and support the integration of data systems, partnering with Onboarding and Product teams to optimize setup and improve process efficiency
- Conduct regular audits to identify financial trends, discrepancies, and revenue-impacting issues, and collaborate with the Revenue Recovery Lead to ensure data accuracy
- Respond to HubSpot tickets related to data management, and assist both clients and software clients on their integration needs
- Assist, with the direction of the Support Manager, in building automated reporting solutions using tools like Power BI to deliver insights, track key performance metrics, and enhance reporting efficiency
- Identify recurring coverage failure patterns and help streamline resolution processes to minimize revenue impact
- Develop and maintain processes to monitor premium data, claims activity, and other essential business metrics by account
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on data quality, system integration, and reporting infrastructure
- Build and replicate products as needed, based on input from leads or the Agency team
