Job Description
As a Project Manager in the Global PMO with Inhabit, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of a project from inception to completion, while leading diverse teams, managing stakeholder expectations and remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments and goals of the organization. The role requires a unique blend of people management skills, project management expertise and attention to detail. Please note: This is not a technical or development project management role.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)               Â
- Support Inhabit’s key initiatives through coordinating and driving project plans / schedules across multiple business units and departments.
- Lead project from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations and implementation plans, including risk management.
- Schedule and facilitate weekly meetings with team members to discuss updates and ensure target dates and deliverables are completed on time.
- Compose status memos and create Gantt charts depicting the results from each project update meeting, distribute to the team and stakeholders, and upload documents to SharePoint.
- Identify the need for additional action and/or working meetings with appropriate team members to continue pushing for forward movement of the project.
- Respond to project inquires and assist team members.
- Track project expenses, identify cost variances, and take corrective actions.Â
- Motivate and drive the project team to achieve project objectives.Â
