We are hiring an Addiction Counselor who will evaluate and aid individuals dealing with substance use disorders. The Addiction Counselor will develop personalized treatment plans, conduct therapeutic sessions, and collaborate with a dedicated team to support clients on their journey to recovery.
Job Qualifications:
- Provide clinical assessments, problem identification, need for medical necessity (DSM 5 criteria/justification), evidence-based treatment modality, crisis intervention, individual/family/group therapy or other activities, case management, advocacy, and outreach/prevention and intervention.
- For assigned caseload, shall develop and monitor treatment plans, monitor treatment progress, document significant interactions, and maintain clinical charts and other reporting data
- Maintain confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA requirements at all times.
- Coordinate comprehensive treatment—internally and externally—with high quality, holistic care as the expected outcome.
