Interp Speech Assistant Coach

Under the direction of the head coach, the interp speech assistant coach will work with students on personal inventory, thesis analysis, research, script construction, revision, and delivery. The external coach will help with Dramatic Interp, Duo Interp, Humorous Interp and Program of Oral Interp. This work may be done in person or online. 

Assistants may need to attend tournaments throughout the year. All are listed below.

Weekly Work: 8 (plus) hours per week in-person and/or online sessions.

Tournaments: Judging rounds to meet team obligations and coaching between rounds at the tournament. Tournaments = 8-12 hours per day.
Meals and travel: provided.

Qualifications

A high school diploma. Performance, coaching, or leadership experience in the competition events listed.
