Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Transportation Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting patients, new admissions, and business materials to and from Eagleville Hospital. The Transportation Driver reports to the Transportation Supervisor and plays a key role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and safety of those in our care during transit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate hospital vehicles for scheduled patient transports.
  • Complete special and emergency transportation runs as needed.
  • Adhere to a preventative maintenance schedule and report any vehicle issues promptly.
  • Utilize a smartphone or iPhone to receive work assignments and updates.
  • Maintain basic records of daily transportation activity.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to all patients and staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of professional driving experience required.
  • Must have a current and valid Class C driver’s license.
  • Previous experience transporting patients, especially in a behavioral health or hospital setting, strongly preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer and email management skills.
