Description

Primary duties include greeting and assisting building customers, answering phones, filing, tracking health insurance claims/payments and report generation from Trust software.  Backup to trust operations daily processing – see separate job description.  Additional responsibilities include typing correspondence and providing support to office staff as needed.  This position is detailed and requires a level of accuracy. 

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Regulatory reports – Conservatorships, Soc Sec Payee, RC-T, Reg R
  • Insurance Trust administration – premium gift letters, Crummey letters
  • Mail Processing and Distribution
  • Deliver Work to South Branch and Mail to Tech Timely
  • Balance Five Points Bank clearing deposit and withdrawal checking accounts
  • Meeting room setup
  • Order Building Supplies
  • Work with Maintenance on Building Concerns
  • Client Internet Access (CIA)
  • Asset, Account and Trust Committee Meeting Packets Preparation
  • Staff meeting packet preparation
  • Complete proofs of claim
  • Customer Statement Production – create, submit to PrintMail, hardcopy for the file
  • Initiate and/or approve ACH’s and wire transfers
  • Set up ticklers and recurring disbursements/deposits
  • Follow up on past due ticklers, scheduled deposits, scheduled disbs & dividend/interest maps
  • Monitor and address fpbtrust@5pointsbank.com emails
  • System new account setup / account closing
  • Current File maintenance – move old documents to retired
  • Closed file maintenance – scan to director
  • Tax worksheet processing to accountants

 

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation
  • General office skills; telephone, calculator, copy machine, fax, scanner, printer, etc. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy are essential
  • Time Management and Prioritization skills
  • Effective communication skills; written and verbal
  • Type 30 wpm
  • Team player a must

 

Education/Training:

  • High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required.  Three years banking or accounting experience required.  General trust knowledge helpful.

Status/Standard Schedule:  Hourly full time position Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
