PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
To assist staff within the Human Resources and Payroll team with various projects, clerical duties, and customer services.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
Position requires familiarity with computers, typing experience, good communication skills, organizational skills, the ability to maintain confidential information, and remain friendly and professional with all visitors to the department.
Essential Job Functions:
- Answer the door and phone to provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors
- Refer visitors to the appropriate HR member as needed based upon visitors’ requests
- Copy and scan documents, send to recipients on behalf of HR if needed
- Filing
- Complete audits on documents as requested
- Create new employee files
- Audit files
- Other duties as assigned
