NY Unarmed Guard (QUEEN, NY)

Location: Queens, NY
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Morning to Evening Shift

We are currently seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals for a School Site Security Officer role in Queens. This is a full-time position requiring a strong presence, professionalism, and the ability to maintain a secure and orderly environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a visible presence on school grounds during assigned shift

• Monitor entrances, exits, and all access points to ensure safety and compliance

• Deter unauthorized individuals from entering the premises

• Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies

• Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, students, and law enforcement if needed

• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports accurately

• Must have a valid NYS Guard Card

• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 4 consecutive hours

• Professional appearance and a “police-style” demeanor

• Strong observational and situational awareness skills

• Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
