Description

Summary: Directs and manages the Test Floor personnel. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

 

  • Directs operators to perform tasks associated with the Test Floor in accordance to the operations plan.
  • Directs Test Floor supervisors to perform tasks associated with the Test Floor in accordance to the operation plans.
  • Review shifts and schedules of personnel on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Ensures meals and break periods are taken in a timely manner.
  • Tracks and manages attendance of team members.
  • Provides guidance to team members and execute communication of test floor plans.
  • Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to improve efficiency and prevent operational delays.
  • Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards
  • Document records in accordance with ISE company policy, ISO and OSHA guidelines.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Maintains records of training for team members.
  • Confers with department supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
  • Forecasts operating cost of department, and prepares and manages department budget.

Qualifications

Supervisory Responsibilities:

                                                             

Manages subordinate supervisors from different production departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:

                                                             

Associate’s degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) and 10+ years of experience in a relevant field, or related experience.

 

Computer Skills:   

                                                             

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
