Assistant/Associate Director of Enrollment Management

The Assistant/Associate Director of Enrollment Management reports directly to the Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid and works closely with other members of the enrollment management team.

Position Summary:
The Assistant/Associate Director of Enrollment Management supports the day-to-day operations of the Office of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid, with a primary focus on Lower School admissions. This role collaborates with administrators, faculty, and staff to design, implement, and sustain enrollment strategies aligned with Latin’s mission and values. This is a 12-month, full-time, onsite position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruit and maintain strong communication with prospective and applicant families
• Conduct dynamic and engaging presentations designed to promote the institution and attract a diverse and talented applicant pool
• Conduct interviews with applicants and their parent(s)/guardian(s)
• Plan and execute enrollment management events, including Open Houses, information sessions, tours, playdates and yield events
• Represent Latin at school fairs and outreach events; maintain relationships with feeder schools throughout Chicago
• Collaborate with parent/guardian ambassadors and faculty/staff to advance recruitment efforts
• Serve as a liaison with internal departments such as Communications, Development and Alumni Relations, Facilities, and Divisional Offices
• Collect, track, and analyze data and feedback related to admissions and enrollment
• Review applications and actively participate as a leader on the admissions committee
• Collaborates with the Lower School Readiness Assessor to coordinate lower school assessments and school-day visits for applicants.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of 3 years experience in admissions or enrollment management, preferably in an independent school setting
• Deep knowledge of early childhood and elementary child development to support age-appropriate admissions assessments, school visits, and family engagement.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Chicago educational landscape and experience working with diverse JK–12 student populations
• Experience using enrollment management databases (e.g., Ravenna, Clarity, or similar systems)
• Desire to participate in the life of the school to the benefit of the student experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
• Ability to travel throughout the Chicagoland area and transport admissions materials as needed
• Ability to physically navigate the school campus regularly to support student visits and events; able to lift and carry materials and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000, not including a comprehensive insurance and benefits package.
