Livestock Kit Puller
We are in search of an experienced Kit Puller to dispense products or raw materials such as trailer related parts, steel, or aluminum to factory associates. The ideal candidate will be competent with maintaining sufficient levels of materials/supplies to support workflow by tracking inventory and completing order entries.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with management to determine future production and material needs.
• Move materials up/downstairs to holding area as needed.
• Combine materials/supplies into “kits” for specific projects.
• Deliver kits as needed to the Livestock and Fabrication department.
• Log all parts, supplies, and materials dispensed in appropriate computer system.
• Examine work orders, verify that needed parts are in stock, and order parts as necessary.
• Source and order parts, supplies, or materials as needed.
• Interpret and relay specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed.
• Report inventory shortages to Supervisor as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
• Follow all company rules and polices.
• Provide a great level of attention to detail.
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Lift raw materials, final products, and items manually (up to 51 pounds).
• Assist with assembly and/or welding procedures as needed.
