The pool host is responsible for the overall guest experience at the pool, from greeting guests to ensuring their needs are met. This position requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a team.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- This position is seasonal and will be available exclusively during our Pool Season, which typically runs until September.
- Embody the shared values of Hotel Drover.
- Greet guests and welcome them to the pool.
- Provide guests with towels, pool floats, and other amenities.
- Answer guest questions and address any concerns.
- Monitor the pool area and make sure that it is clean and well-maintained.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations.
- Assist with lifeguarding duties as needed.
- Train new pool hosts.
MUST HAVES:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively and graciously.
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities; passion for collaboration.
