Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Must have completed a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from an accredited school in the United States approved by a recognizing body in the year of the applicants graduation, or a Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from a foreign medical school which provided education and medical knowledge substantially equivalent to accredited schools in the Unites States. All foreign medical school graduates must have a permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medial Graduates (ECFMG) or a Fifth Pathway Certificate for Americans who completed premedical education in the United States and graduated education in a foreign country.
- Completion of an ABMS recognized residency in emergency medicine, internal medicine or family practice.
- Board certification and maintenance of certification as required by the appropriate ABMS specialty board.
- Active and unrestricted state license in any US jurisdiction recognized by the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB).
- Must have certification of BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS.
Training Requirements:
- Maintenance of board certification and continuing education consistent with licensure requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Normal to heavy work which includes the ability to lift up to 20-50 lbs.; lifting and/or transferring of patients may involve heavy lifting.
- Regularly required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, phone, and various office or medical equipment.
- Manual dexterity with cooperatively free range of motion of all extremities including neck, fingers, hands, wrists, elbows, arms, shoulders, waist, legs, hips, knee joints, ankles, and feet is required.
- While performing daily duties, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- Fine motor skills required.
Cognitive Requirements:
- Ability to effectively handle situations and people with tact, courtesy, respect and objectivity with excellent social interaction skills.

Language Requirements:
- Possess the ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:
- All applicants will comply with 45 CFR 1301, Subpart D, Section 1301.31, C and D, which require all prospective employees to sign a declaration prior to employment regarding all arrests and convictions of child abuse or violent felonies and to comply with PL 101-630 and PL 101-637 regarding criminal records check.
