Senior Maintenance Technician

The Manager of Plant and Property reports directly to the Director of Plant and Property and
plays a key role in coordinating and executing day-to-day maintenance and groundskeeping
tasks across the campus. This hands-on position supports the effective functioning of the
school’s physical plant, buildings, and grounds. The Manager serves as a working lead who
helps ensure work orders are completed efficiently, assists with planning campus upkeep, and
provides expertise in facilities-related tasks.

• 3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on ability in three or more trade areas (e.g.,carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, landscaping)
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety protocols, blueprints, and building specifications
• Skilled in the safe operation of tools, equipment, and vehicles common to the role
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, operate heavy equipment, and perform indoor/outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and take direction while independently managing assigned tasks
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or relevant coursework preferred
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory background check required
