Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 5-10 years of project management experience.
- Must have a working knowledge of electrical and fuse panels, plumbing, drywall, painting ,roofing, concrete, advanced irrigation systems
- Must have experience with managing projects from start to completion.
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts, and trenchers.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
- Ability to understand, influence, and lead large projects centered around operational improvements.
- Experience leading projects with one or more of the continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma, CI, Kazan, 5S, etc.) and/or PMP certification preferred.
- Detail oriented and well-organized.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
BS in Construction Management or equivalent experience
Physical requirements/Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 15 pounds. Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind.
