Job Summary                                                                                                                                                                                           

We’re looking for a high-impact Marketing Director to lead strategic growth marketing efforts for our Tree Care Maintenance division and Wholesale/Landscape Contractor customer segment. This role will focus on driving demand for recurring tree maintenance services, building brand loyalty among our professional buyers and driving other high impact growth opportunities. You’ll build and execute high-impact marketing campaigns, improve customer retention and acquisition strategies, and help define the next phase of growth in these emerging verticals

You will design and execute marketing strategies that increase visibility, generate qualified leads, and drive conversions for our service-based and B2B offerings. The ideal candidate brings experience in subscription-based services, recurring maintenance programs, or B2B marketing, preferably in home services, landscaping, or other field-based industries.

 Key Duties and Responsibilities                                                                                                                                                          

• Lead end-to-end marketing strategy for Tree Care Maintenance services, with a focus on lead generation, customer retention, and lifetime value.
• Develop targeted campaigns and content for landscape contractors, developers, and other wholesale buyers.
• Launch localized and regional advertising programs to support market-level Tree Care sales teams.
• Build and manage marketing funnels for recurring service models (e.g., quarterly pruning, fertilization plans).
• Create tailored materials and communication strategies for B2B customers—including exclusive offers, loyalty programs, and partner promotions.
• Monitor marketing KPIs and optimize campaign performance across digital, email, field, and direct marketing channels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Product to align messaging and enhance service adoption.
• Manage external agencies and internal resources (1 direct report or contractor) as needed.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities                                                                                                                                   

• 7+ years of experience in marketing, with direct experience in service-based and/or B2B marketing.
• Proven ability to drive adoption of recurring services, ideally in home improvement, landscaping, or subscription-based verticals.
• Skilled in segmenting audiences and developing marketing programs specific to contractors, builders, and trade professionals.
• Deep understanding of digital, email, local, and trade-focused marketing channels.
• Comfortable collaborating with field-based sales teams and working across multiple locations.
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Self-starter who can build scalable marketing systems from the ground up and move fast with data.
• Excellent written, verbal, and strategic thinking skills.

Education                                                                                                                                                                                                 

BS in Marketing or Business

MBA preferred, not required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 15 pounds. Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind.
