Job Summary                                                                                                                                                                                          

The In-Store Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing in-store marketing strategies that drive brand consistency, customer engagement, and sales support. This position oversees the planning, production, and rollout of signage, promotional materials, and in-store campaigns across all locations.

 

The ideal candidate has experience in retail marketing operations or field marketing, excels at managing multiple projects, and enjoys both the creative and logistical sides of in-store marketing. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as District Managers, Local Marketing Managers, and Operations leaders will be key to success in this role.

 

 

 Key Duties and Responsibilities                                                                                                                                                          

Signage & Visual Marketing

  • Develop and manage the in-store signage strategy, including promotional materials, benchcards, hang tags, and product toppers.
  • Oversee the design, production, and distribution of all in-store marketing materials in partnership with internal teams and external print vendors.
  • Maintain brand consistency and accuracy across all signage and visual assets company-wide.
  • Plan and execute seasonal and promotional signage rollouts according to marketing calendars and campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain signage kits for new store openings and seasonal activations.

 

Execution & Store Support

  • Partner with store and operations teams to ensure all in-store marketing elements are executed accurately and on time.
  • Conduct store visits and audits (in-person and virtual) to review signage presentation, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Provide training, feedback, and guidance to store teams on signage standards and in-store marketing best practices.
  • Act as the primary contact for store-level signage or marketing inquiries.

 

Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Manage relationships with print and display vendors, including scheduling, pricing, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with District Managers, Local Marketing Managers, and Creative teams to align campaign timelines and execution priorities.
  • Track and report on signage performance, accuracy, and marketing effectiveness across locations.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities                                                                                                                  

    • 3–5 years of experience in retail marketing operations, field marketing, or in-store marketing coordination.
    • Proven experience managing signage programs or in-store marketing campaigns across multiple locations.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple deadlines and deliverables.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across creative, operational, and leadership teams.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with layout or design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Canva, etc.) preferred.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of brand consistency and quality presentation.
    • Willingness to travel regionally (up to 25–40%) during rollout or campaign activation phases.

 

 

Education                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.

 

 Physical requirements/Working Conditions                                                                                                                                   

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 15 pounds. Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind.
