Overview
SCCI is seeking a System Tester for Manned and Unmanned Surface Vessels to join our our Battle Management System technical services team. Our System Testers plan, conduct, and report results of test and evaluation of the systems and products of the project teams within the BMS portfolio as part of the BMS Rapid Develop Process with particular focus on software testing. This testing includes developmental testing as well as system level testing to ensure the products are well characterized and understood before delivery to the warfighter. The team conducts testing both in the lab and in the field with constant focus on improving the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of test and evaluation to ensure the highest quality products are delivered to the warfighter as quickly as possible. The focus for this position will be on BMS projects that integrate BMS hardware and software on manned and unmanned surface platforms. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.
This position requires CONUS travel up to 3 times semi-annually.

Responsibilities:
- Support the development of testable requirements and project test strategies
- Develop and document methodologies for weapon systems integration and verification
- Conduct test evaluation of weapon control systems during development and prior to formal release both in the laboratory and in the field
- Work with developers to troubleshoot issues found during testing and report results through documentation and tickets
- Participate in the installation and assessment of the system conducted locally and remotely
- Collaborate with the BMS team through regularly scheduled meetings
