Senior Hazmat Customer Service Liaison FT

 

Reports to:   HAZMAT-MRO Store Manager      Department:  Base Service Centers

Classification:  Non-Exempt                                 Travel: occasionally (up to 50%)               

                   

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Hazmat Customer Service Liaison is a customer-focused, sales-centric individual who builds customer relationships, drives sales, and delivers excellent customer service.  Working closely with the store manager and team, they provide a total oversight of customer requests and provide quality customer service. The Senior Hazmat CSL works independently with minimal supervision, demonstrates strategic thinking, and takes initiative to meet customer and company objectives.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Selling to customers and achieving assigned sales goals.
  • Spend 80% of your week engaging in selling to customers and 20% of your week planning and performing administrative duties.   
  • Follow and execute directions from supervisor.
  • Execute company SOP’s, Routine Action Plans (RAPS) personally and teams' compliance.
  • Responsible and accountable for achieving personal sales, profit goals and the Base Reps Sales, profit Goals.
  • Create a 30/60/90-day Business Plan & Marketing Plan.
  • Contact potential and current customers to solicit sales.
  • Build Relationships with customers and Vibrant Works associates.
  • Coordinate the creation of promotional flyers, displays, videos and goals to help increase the sales.  
  • Prepare sales quotes, pricing comparison (market basket survey), sales calls, presentations  
  • Present and attend relevant meetings and briefings
  • Assume additional responsibilities, perform additional duties, and complete special projects as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Windows and CRM platforms.
  • Prior experience in a Base Service Center (BSC) or similar environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a nonprofit environment is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing and bending
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
