Quality Control Inspector (Mfg) – Entry Level
The quality control inspector must monitor the manufacturing and production processes to ensure that products are made in accordance with requirements and specifications. It also entails helping customers understand quality standards, ensuring that all products meet their contract specifications and standards. Final inspection must be conducted for all material leaving the machine shop.
Responsibilities:
Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tape measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages
Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
Participate in routine visual inspections
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Ability to enter data into report
First Shift: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work Environment: Extreme heat and cold temperatures may be encountered during the course of the workday. (Will work inside and outside of a machine shop.)
Safety boots required.
