Position Summary:

Founded in 1959 by two visionary women, Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, Childhelp has blossomed into a global movement dedicated to ending child abuse and neglect. Today, Childhelp stands as the nation’s largest nonprofit devoted to rescuing abused and neglected children through innovative intervention, prevention, and treatment programs impacting the lives of over 13 million children.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Manager to assist in the execution of our digital marketing strategy, with a primary focus on managing the organization’s website and email communications. This role is essential in enhancing our nonprofit’s online presence, engaging our community, and driving donor and volunteer engagement.

 

This position does not have direct reports.

 

Essential Functions:

Website Management

  • Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Work with web developers or platforms (e.g., WordPress) to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Monitor website analytics (Google Analytics, etc.) to improve user experience and optimize performance.
  • Develop landing pages and campaign-specific web content.
  • Ensure website meets accessibility and SEO best practices.

Email Marketing

  • Plan, write, design, and schedule email campaigns using tools such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar.
  • Manage subscriber lists and segmentation to improve engagement.
  • Track and analyze email performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions) to guide future strategy.
  • Collaborate with programs, development, and event teams to support organizational goals through targeted email campaigns.

General Marketing Support

  • Event support as needed
  • Support broader digital strategy, events and digital fundraising campaigns.
  • Help develop marketing collateral and promotional content in coordination with other departments.
  • Ensure all communications are aligned with the organization’s mission, tone, and branding guidelines.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education & Experience, Knowledge/Understanding

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or job-related experience
  • 3+ Years experience with email management
  • Proven success in email marketing, including developing and optimizing drip campaigns.
  • Proficiency in WordPress
  • Strong writing, editing, and design skills.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and email performance metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
