What You'll Do
As a key player on our engineering team, you'll be responsible for developing and documenting manufacturing processes and designing the tooling that powers our production systems. You’ll work hands-on with groundbreaking technologies and partner with cross-functional teams to bring new products to life — from initial design to full-scale manufacturing.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Designing foundry tooling, core assembly fixtures, unloaders, gages, and processing fixtures
- Creating CAE models for simulation and managing model databases
- Overseeing design work with outside contractors and internal teams
- Leading program management for new products and tooling
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production performance
- Documenting every detail of our tooling and process designs
- Acting as project manager on key equipment and tooling initiatives
What You Bring
We're looking for an engineer who’s not just technically strong, but also a confident communicator, a problem-solver, and a project leader who thrives on innovation.
Required skills and traits:
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in 2D and 3D modeling (SolidWorks experience preferred)
- Proven ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Highly organized with excellent documentation and record-keeping habits
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven
- Experience managing projects and collaborating across all levels of an organization
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering OR
- BA degree + 5 years of relevant experience OR
- 10+ years of mechanical design experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design
