The Telehealth Coordinator is responsible for handling high-volume incoming calls, scheduling appointments, managing provider calendars, and ensuring a seamless experience for patients both in-person and via telehealth. This role requires excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming high-volume phone calls in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, including follow-ups for medication management
- Maintain full and efficient schedules for prescribers and therapists, adjusting as needed
- Check patients in and out for appointments
- Collect payments (cash pay and copay) and accurately log all transactions
- Conduct telehealth onboardings and set up Zoom appointments for virtual visits
- Ensure all required patient documentation is collected, scanned, and stored properly
- Accurately document all patient interactions in their electronic charts
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management
