The airport information booth at the Orlando Sanford International Airport handles lost & found items to provide excellent customer service to passengers by answering inquiries, directing travelers, and assisting with lost & found items.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Staffs the information booth in the airport terminal during assigned shifts
Provides accurate directions and information regarding airport services, ground transportation, terminals, gates, etc.
Answers questions and assists passengers with requests for information.
Fields inquiries, complaints, and requests for assistance from travelers and visitors
Refers issues to the supervisor when needed to ensure proper resolution.
Performs lost & found duties including recording items that are turned in, storing properly with detailed logs, coordinating return of items to owners, and preparing unclaimed items for further handling.
Maintains the appearance of the booth by keeping the counter neat, materials stocked, floors vacuumed, etc.
Uses computer systems to log lost & found items or access information for passengers.
Maintain a safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Use computer and common office equipment, including Microsoft Office and other software and applications.
