Objective:

The Next Steps Coordinator is responsible for delivering and leading a culture of hospitality for gatherings at their Crosspoint City Church location. As well as, oversee and execute the assimilation process for the location.

  • Give generously to the vision and mission of Crosspoint City Church.
  • Be loyal to the vision and staff of Crosspoint City Church and always protect the church's unity.
  • Invest and invite the lost to know Jesus and come to Crosspoint City Church.
  • Maintain staff team covenant.
  • Adhering to and embodying the qualities and characteristics required of employees, as defined by the Employee Handbook.

Primary Responsibilites:

  • Maintain a clean and presentable appearance of the lobby, worship auditorium, and parking lot areas. 
  • Develop a culture of hospitality for your locations gatherings and special events.
    • Baptisms, Child Dedication, Vision nights, Next Step Class, etc.
  • Facilitate the sign up and preparation for anyone being Baptized.
  • Oversee the signup, execution and follow up for attendees of the monthly Next Steps Class at the location.
  • Ensure the system for capturing First Time Guests is happening, and help them take the Next Steps in getting connected with Crosspoint.
  • Recruit, prepare, equip, and encourage the Guest Experience Team at your location.
  • Initiating background checks for all potential serve team members at the location, as well as renewals.
  • Ensure First Time Guest follow up process is completed.
  • Develop and lead serve team members to facilitate the Next Steps area in the lobby during weekly gathering and certain special event times.
  • Ensure the weekly gathering follow up process is handled in a timely manner.
  • Foster an environment of follow up amongst the ministry teams.
  • Effectively steward the budget and all resources related to your ministry.
  • Be a Planning Center (database& workflow) expert.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the Location Pastor
  • Attend staff meetings, team meetings, gatherings, All Skate events, and other staff functions when applicable.

  • Ability to manage mulitple projects simultaneously 
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Doctrinal beliegs congruent with Crosspoint City Church
  • Commitment to a team approach to ministry
  • Collaboration and a team-oriented mindset are essential
  • Ability to be discreet in dealing with confidential matters and materials
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and members face to face
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively 
  • Confidentiality of personal and church information is essential
