Description

Objective:

The Kids Ministry Coordinator is responsible for leading the Kids Ministry at a specific location by equipping and developing a serve team to execute kids' gatherings, along with partnering with parents to be the primary disciple makers of their families.

  • Give generously to the vision and mission of Crosspoint City Church.
  • Be loyal to Crosspoint City Church's vision and staff and always protect the church's unity.
  • Invest and invite the lost to know Jesus and come to Crosspoint City Church.
  • Maintain staff team covenant.
  • Adhering to and embodying the qualities and characterisitics required of employees, as defined by the Employee Handbook.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the recruitment, coaching, and equipping of serve team.
  • Support in planning and executing Kids Ministry events.
  • Implement the Kids Ministry curriculum.
  • Oversee and manage inventory of supplies and other needs in the Kids Ministry using an allocated budget.
  • Collaborate with parents to guide the new generation of children in knowing and following Jesus.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, safety and security procedures, training, and care of the serve team.
  • Lead and develop staff, apprentices, and inters at the location.
  • Model discipleship by being a disciple-making disciple.
  • Carry clear vision, values, and culture to serve team and staff teams.
  • Effectively steward budget and all resources related to your ministry.
  • As required, attend staff and departmental meetings on time.
  • Particpate in training as directed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Position may require local travel.

Qualifications

  • Must have valid driver's license and pass a background check
  • Childcare experience required
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, especially professionally dealing with parents and children; maintain cooperative relationships with adminsitrative staff, church leadership, and members
  • Doctrinal beliefs congruent with Crosspoint City Church
  • Possess the ability to inspire, instruct, and encourage through effective communication in various settings
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be discreet in dealing with confidential matters and materials
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and members face to face
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively 
  • Confidentiality of personal and church information is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
